I received my Ozark tent from my grandparents, which I used 9 years ago when we went camping with them. This piece of crap promises the buyer a lot for a lot of money, but what you get is something of lesser quality than if you bought a tent from the local Dollar store. I actually even packed up one of my Coleman tents while it was still wet, and when I took it out a few months later, there was no mold or anything on it. And also, there was this sort of inconsistent mesh in 2 places around the tent. But the stitching in my Ozark Trail tent is not as great, there were loose threads all over the tent, and fairly big holes where the guylines are connected to the main tent body.
My best advice to deal with this is to try and set the tent up with the awning facing the wind. This will allow for a little more intentional airflow and help keep you dry from both the ozark trail canopy rain and accumulated internal moisture. Easy to put up, nice size….but only for fair weather. For a cheap and cheerful tent this served me and my daughter perfectly for 12 nights this August. So I called the company requesting new poles and a month later I have yet to see my new poles.
