Of course it has no side water holsters, or lid pocket, or hipbelt strap, but I think that all contributes to its low weight. For the water bottles I just use Platypus .5 liter and 1 liter flat style bottles, which you can fit in the main body of the pack on top of your other gear. I carried this daypack back n forth on a trail to the shower while camping. The bag stayed in place on my back using the sternum strap. Size is perfect for day trips, smaller individuals, and teens. However, between myself, camera equipment, racks, bags, fishing gear, and more, I’d be pushing 265 pounds on the trail. The soft sidewalls would need extra pressure to keep from bottoming out on rough descents. Some 1-person tents will have two major spars or spines that cross for the main support structure. In the Ozark Trail tent, it has only one spar traveling down the center lengthwise with a single rib to open up the area in the middle. The four or six tent pegs hold the structure down but are crucial for the tent to stand by itself.
