Genesis Croix De Fer 20 Touring & Gravel

The Genesis Fugio 10 sits at the bottom of the Fugio range, replacing the steel framesets found on the Fugio 20 (SRAM Apex 1x) and 30 (Shimano GRX 1x) with aluminium, but retaining the carbon fork found across the range. We’re always looking out for keen riders who are planning trips so we are open to receiving sponsorship proposals to consider. Unfortunately we do not range Genesis branded components for after sale. Packaging SystemThe packaging system had to accommodate everything from small replacement parts to complete bikes. Packaging SystemWe created a packaging system that both stood out at retail and aided in finding the right product at a glance in a crowded retail environment. Product PresentationWe developed the product graphic presentation for more than 200 unique models every year…while being on-trend, fresh and true to the brand.

The Montane Icemen (Pete Sissons and Paul Cosgrove) underlined the bikes capabilities as they used a pair of Croix de Fers to circumnavigate the 1600-mile coastline of Iceland in 14 days.

Product PresentationFrom free-ride, long-travel mountain models to fun city bikes, the presentation is a key attractor on the sales floor. This Genesis Fugio 10 is a fun, adaptable, robust bike for exploring local trails (did I mention it made me smile?) and for the occasional overnight trip or commuting. If you want an entry-level gravel bike that’s focussed on the fun element and is adaptable this could be the bike for you, although the Fugio 20 or 30 might be worth considering for the frame material and groupset upgrades.

The ability to run up to a 45mm rear tyre and a 50mm front tyre on the provided 700c rims increase the all-terrain ability of the Croix. The geometry encouraged me to ride downhill faster than I have with other gravel bikes and the smaller wheel size made handling the more unexpected larger rocks a breeze. I found the reach on the Large frame (395 mm) and the stack height (613 mm) kept the front end planted and my eyes up so I could focus on the trail, especially during some of the more technical gravel / MTB trails that my Pennine terrain has to offer.

Finding the center of the brand design was based on our uncovering the “truth in materials” position. Genesis created the personalities and graphics for bikes built for the world’s diverse cultures. You can see our work for Giant in the grueling Tour de France, on Tokyo commuter streets, and in a garage much like your own. That’s why we have an extensive network of expert dealers who can help you get your perfect Genesis, whether you’re after a reliable tourer or your dream custom build.Find your local dealer here.

The site said a retirement sale would begin Thursady and the store will be closed May 4-7 as trek prepares to re-open under the new ownership. The Genesis™ bicycle rack has the simple “floating” concentric rings that look like an attractive outdoor sculpture. When full, these same concentric rings park bikes safely and securely. The Genesis™ offers two contact points, at front and rear, for locking. The unique concentric design of the Genesis™ bike rack helps guide bikes into proper parking position while providing double the parking space of typical serpentine racks. Look to the Equilibrium if you’re after a performance road package or to the Tour de fer if you desire a rugged reliable touring package, ready to go off the peg. British brand Genesis has become a brand synonymous with versatility for us here at Wheelbase. Genesis champion themselves on built in practicalities that can be seen throughout the range, enabling their use daily across many different scenarios. The best example of this is the Croix de Fer which can only be described as the Swiss Army knife of the road bike world, capable of on or off road touring adventures, daily commutes and really comes into its own on anything unpaved. If there are any issues with your bike, return it for a full refund or receive a replacement bike for free. Your bike frame & fork are protected under our Lifetime Warranty policy.

Bike service must be completed before Trek takes over, the site says. Hinchcliff didn’t immediately return a phone message left at the store. After 47 years, the owner of an iconic Easton bicycle shop has decided to retire. The model number can be found on the lower portion of the seat tube just above the crank on a black and silver decal. It’s really hard to give safe and accurate technical advice over the internet! We’d always advise going to your local Genesis dealer, where they can see the bike and diagnose any technical or mechanical issues that you’re having with your bike. Packaging SystemGenesis created a holistic packaging system that was impactful and highlighted specific genesis mountain bike features across a product offering that reached almost 3000 SKU’s. Obviously I am coming from a Lauf fork and shock absorbing carbon bars, but the front end on the Fugio just seemed to bounce a bit more than expected. Over ten years the range expanded beyond commuter bikes to include road, mountain, cyclo-cross, gravel, kids and fat bikes.
