The rain-fly is sewn on at two corners, and hooks into two other loops of cloth on opposite sites. Convenient, but it limits the use of the rain-fly for any other purpose (such as a wind tarp, or to collect water drip etc). When something says “waterproof” it does not mean it will not leak. It is made of nylon and nylon does not keep water out. It is simply a way to keep you from direct weather contact.
If your budget is tight, the Pacific Breeze Easy Up is an inexpensive beach canopy that provides the essentials for a quick, hassle-free setup but may not be built to endure many summers of use. If you can spend a bit more and want a more traditional cathedral shape, the Caravan V-Series is a good choice. Families who regularly pitch their tent in rainy locales need a wind-fighting tent with a good-size vestibule for storing wet shoes and gear, as well as a full rain fly for added weather protection. First, all Ozark Trail tents should be considered “fair-weather” shelters. That doesn’t mean they all leak when it rains or collapse when it’s windy, ozark trail chair but they simply aren’t built for bad weather. The door can be zipped up from both the inside and outside. The zipper quality is not the best, it’s a little bit noisy, and it always, always snags from the outside because of this green rain cover. The single door measures about 54 by 39 inches in dimensions, although it’s about 62 inches from the floor to the top of the door. This is almost a full-sized door, but I do need to duck a little when entering.
