The shape and weight of both tumblers are very much the same. You can basically get the same type of performance that Yeti Tumbler can give you but get two of them for the same price. This is where the Ozark Trail Tumbler gets a lot of love, because it is very inexpensive. The Rambler Lowball is the mini version of the tumbler but unlike the Ozark Trail which is 12 ounces, it is only 10 ounces.
The water in the Yeti tumbler did cool down slightly slower than the Ozark Trail one, but not enough to cause a significant difference in experience between the two. After extensively reviewing the data from ozark trail canopy the travel logger, we found that—drumroll, please—the two tumblers performed exactly the same. I’ll pause for shock value, but there’s no real difference between the two other than the price tag and that the Yeti is dishwasher safe. Then I did the same test with cold water from the same coolers.
They aren’t necessarily meant to be multi-day cups, so I think they all performed really well. On the other hand, the Ozark Trail ozark trail chair tumbler is made of high-grade, double-walled stainless steel and is vacuum-sealed—so pretty much the same as the Yeti. It’s also BPA-free and has a “no sweat” design, but doesn’t have a slider on the lid. The Yeti coffee mug has an easy-to-use handle much like a coffee cup does. These come in various sizes, including 10 oz, 14 oz, and 24 oz.
They can keep drinks cold or hot for hours, which can truly be a lifesaver whether you’re on the road, in the car, at the office, or at home. This design consists of, you guessed it, two stainless steel walls as well as a vacuum sealed chamber that sits in between the two walls. With a traditional single wall thermos, convection occurs transferring the internal heat out or vice versa, impacting the liquids temperature over time and at a greater pace. If you are wondering what makes a double wall vacuum sealed thermos superior to other designs, we can help clear the air.

We TRY to ship same day for blanks ordered by 10 am CST, but may have to wait 1-2 days for a restock.
To take this a step further, you may encounter a noticeable change in flavor as your coffee’s temperature reduces. The less expensive Ozark Trail Tumbler was declared the winner of my very casual unscientific YETI vs. Ozark Trail Tumbler challenge! And they both really did seem pretty similar in performance and are both fantastic tumblers to consider. Tumblers, one from YETI and one from Ozark Trail, to test if there’s a difference that would make me want to spend 4x as much money for the YETI. We seem to have a growing supply of tumblers at home and I often wonder if there’s a difference between the higher-end brands like YETI and Walmart’s more affordable brand Ozark Trail.
The tumbler is also very easy to wash as both the cup and lid is dishwasher safe. This is a huge advantage knowing you can save time by not having to hand-wash it. The vacuum chamber in a double wall vacuum sealed thermos prevents that convection from occurring and greatly increases the duration that your drink remains at the desired temperature. It features a double wall vacuum seal design and is built from high-grade 18/8 stainless steel. When purchasing from Walmart’s website, you have the option of selecting one of 4 colors; black, mint, silver, or tan. Another great thing that Walmart provides is the ability to purchase the 32oz Ozark Trail Tumbler in quantities of 1, 2, 4, or 6.
It holds a lot of water at 40oz, but it doesn’t feel super bulky because it is long and skinny. The handle is super sturdy and high enough that it doesn’t get in the way of a cup holder. Although it isn’t leak proof, the lid screws on and off really easily and keeps the contents secure. You will be happy to know that unlike stainless steel water bottles of the past, these insulated tumblers won’t freeze your hands when you have cold drinks or burn them with your hot beverages. The Ozark Trail 40-ounce double wall stainless steel tumbler will keep you hydrated all day long with less refill. With a 40-ounce capacity, this reusable tumbler is the drinkware everyone needs in their pantry.
You can use the lid of the Ozark to seal the Yeti tumbler, and vice versa. Using a thermal imaging scope from ATN, I filled one of the 22oz mugs with water boiled to 185 degrees Fahrenheit and another filled with water boiled to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. I tested the temperature using a Weber meat thermometer which was $15 off the shelf. I used plain water which I boiled to temperature and placed inside each of the Tumblers and immediately closed with the provided lids.
