The accommodations on the tour were great, much better than we anticipated, with many large included meals. The recent change to the Pullman Hotel in Cape Town is a good one. In summary, it was a fantastic and unforgettable African adventure.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to pick up all purchased lots. Roller personnel is there to assist / locate items mongoose excursion but not to verify all items have been picked up. We will attempt to assist with this, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the buyer.

Some of the world’s finest riders ride Mongoose BMX Freestyle and BMX Race bikes. This is important because, as a rider, you should know which heavy bike you can handle. In the past, Mongoose bicycles were at the top of the class. But now, they might be second or third.
Overall, another great experience in Africa and Gate 1 trip. I also like that he is English as am I and we have the similar culture and views in common. We always felt safe, despite the crime rate in the country evidenced by the security protections on most/ all buildings ! I would be very happy to travel with John again in Africa .
There are many reasons why it was great, most of all was our tour director, Renier. He was a delight, went above and beyond what I and others would have expected. He was knowledgeable, conversant, and just a wonderful human being. Additionally, we had a very cohesive group of 36 people, and we bonded well.
Thank you also for providing so many meals for us. The hotels were great – not really crazy about the Mountain View one – mostly because my room was such a distance. I had heard great things about Gate 1 before I went on this trip and now, I know why.

As a multi-trip, 3 continent Gate 1 traveler, I can say that Lawrence is a outstanding tour manager. He provides great information spanning many appropriate topics. He is also a very diligent risk manager, which is important for your guests. I will surely continue to travel with Gate 1 as I already have 2 more trips booked.
