I have traveled with other tour companies before, but this was my first time traveling with Gate 1 and the entire process has been seamless. How lucky was I That there were only 2 other guests. The best thing about it was our guide Godliving. He was the smartest, well versed , caring and so loyal to gate 1.
Thank you also for providing so many meals for us. The hotels were great – not really crazy about the Mountain View one – mostly because my room was such schwinn mountain bicycles a distance. I had heard great things about Gate 1 before I went on this trip and now, I know why.

There are many reasons why it was great, most of all was our tour director, Renier. He was a delight, went schwinn electric bike above and beyond what I and others would have expected. He was knowledgeable, conversant, and just a wonderful human being. Additionally, we had a very cohesive group of 36 people, and we bonded well.
Romuald was our driver, tour manager, safari expert and friend on this tour. We were only 5 travelers and by the end of the trip we felt like a family. Every dinner was a delicious 3 course meal with the best soups I have ever eaten.
