Can this Ozark Trail tumbler compete against the Yeti Rambler?

This pack fits me fine and is very comfortable for lightweight loads. It’s light enough that I don’t mind putting it in my backpack and it takes up almost no space at all. And on summit day, I sure am glad I have a daypack! For day hikes this is just as good as (and lighter than) my Osprey Daylite that retails for almost four times more. We like that this pack has a lot of pockets including a zipper that allows you to access the middle of the pack without opening the top.

The front and hip straps make it very comfortable and takes alot of the pressure of your ozark trail canopy shoulders and back. I priced other internal frame daypacks before my trip and this was by far the cheapest. I took this pack on a 5-day mountain bike ride from Pittsburgh, Pa., to Washington, D.C., and it performed very well.

With the added height of an inflatable pillow and sleeping pad my head height was indeed close to the curvature of the tent ceiling but there was still enough room. I did have a few inches along the edge for some clothes, a water bottle, and a headlamp, but that could have been made wider with a narrower sleeping pad. Size is perfect for day trips, smaller individuals, and teens. Great for hiking in warm weather, thanks to the breathable construction, mesh straps, and hydration bladder hook up. Material is durable and will stand up to heavy duty use.

There are no compression straps or other means of securing anything to the outside of the pack, aside from the “daisy chain” on the front. My only knock on it would be the lack of a small water bottle pocket. Thru-hiking is defined as hiking the contiguous 230-mile backbone of the Ozark Trail in one trip. A thru-hike can begin at the Onondaga State Park and proceed southward to the Eleven Point Western trailhead, or move in the opposite direction from south to north. The Ozark Trail Association Trip Planner contains information on a thru-hike, including directions to Onondaga State Park and Eleven Point Western trailheads.

These tests proved to us that not only do both the Yeti and the Ozark Trail mugs do an incredible job ozark trail canopy at insulating cold drinks, but they perform nearly identically. The Yeti Rambler tumbler comes with a slider on the lid. With the nearly $30 disparity between the Yeti Rambler and the Ozark Trail tumbler, I found it a little hard to believe they could perform similarly.

At mile 15 in the Trace Creek section, you will find the scenic Council Bluff Recreation Area, which includes a lake and a 12-mile loop to explore the beautiful landscape of southeast Missouri. The Ozark Trail Association marks and improves the trail and ensures campsites are well maintained.
