The worlds leading brand of bicycles and cycling gear

I can move thru the orange groves around here so much easier then before. This bike is quiet, so I have been able to get close to some of the wildlife roaming in these parts, (wild hogs, turkeys,etc.). I ride this bike almost every day and the battery has not given out on me so far. I have used this bike to help round up my neighbors cows from the orange groves when ever they decide to take a tour.

The Right pedal will be labeled with an “R” and the Left with an “L” sticker. Enter your email for the top stories in mountain biking, plus product picks and deals delivered to your inbox each week. Plus, a local bike shop is also a great place to find your next bike — something to work up to.

That would have been fine, but we had already assembled most of the mountain bike and we didn’t want to repack the entire thing just to ship it out and get another mountain bike that we would have to reassemble. I would give this bike an 7/10 for durability and quality. It loses three points for the small defects and bad customer service from the manufacturer and seller.

I’d say that you can comfortably expect the ride time of your hyper Ebike to live up to the manufacturers description. Hyper states that the MTB Ebike has a battery life of 1 hour or 20 miles and I tested this out to see how my bike fared in the wild. All that was required on my end was installing the handlebars, pedals, and battery. The trouble with ATVs is of course the amount of noise they make when you are using them.

Tire pressure is one of the most important pieces of pre-ride bike setup, and it’s worth playing around with different numbers to find what feels best for you. The biggest problem I’ve seen is improper assembly and setup. Even a big-name bike can give a miserable experience if it isn’t set up properly. And sadly, this is an area in hyper bike which most big-box stores are lacking.

I tried this for several years, and when I actually checked the pressure with a gauge it varied by 3-5psi despite feeling the same as the prior pump. That discrepancy was too wide for me, and I now use a digital gauge to dial in the numbers before every ride. It adds 1-2 seconds to the ride-prep process, affords me some mental security on the rocks, and provides the ability to more accurately test tires and wheels. The reality is that each new feature has to either increase price or take away from something else to compensate.

With that in mind, we started looking at alternative travel methods that would have a little bit more stealth for our early morning approaches to our tree stands. Ebikes have been growing in popularity in the last few years and are being used for a number of different applications from daily commutes to trail riding. Brands have even popped up who are tailoring their Ebikes towards hunters but, there is just one problem, they are really expensive. When I say expensive, I mean you could buy an Ebike that costs more than a well equipped, brand new ATV. The ideal, all-purpose mountain bike that is just as at home off the beaten track as on aggressive single track, with integrated componentry and minimalist frame design for pure McLaren style. Four distinct models – Extreme 600, Extreme 250, Sport 600, and Sport 250 – each offer the ultimate two-wheel ride, whether on city streets, off-road tracks, or mountain trails.

Some buyers may not care about spending over $5,000 on an Ebike, but others will and that is where a more budget friendly option comes in to play. Since we have a specific purpose for wanting Ebikes, we were already narrowing down our potential options and some of the more budget friendly bikes on the market. I stumbled across Hyper while perusing the Walmart website and started to dig in on what they had to offer.

In terms of the 20 mile claim, we were able to easily accomplish this in city streets with minimal inclines. For an off road test I took the Hyper MTB Ebike to hyper bicycles a local park wth 14 miles of easy – difficult trails. With the bike on the Medium setting, I was able to make it all the way through with the trail system with a little bit left in the tank. Overall I would have to say I am not only happy with the performance but also happy to see the product description live up to it’s real world use.
