It ranked less well on Design and also under Performance simply due to the fact that it’s slightly bulky and large to carry over long distances – not perfect for hiking but just the ticket for camping. Testers consistently ranked this chair as one of the most comfortable models (typically second to the Yeti Trailhead, which costs almost four times as much). If you’re looking for something more subdued, that might be a little off-putting. We don’t regard any of these as outright deal-breakers, and at least where the storage issue is concerned, there’s an easy DIY fix. It’s the lightest, most portable chair that is still comfortable.
